Things about ePSXe and plugins

I hope we can use this forums to ask about the function of options, and it's effects
Because I myself have something to ask,and anybody who knows please help me to answer as details as possible.

1.What does enable subchannel channel reports means ?
2. Why does there is an error msg

1. Subchannel data is for certain games with copy protection.
2. Something is tits up. No idea what myself, but...
3. Alpha multipass and advance blending are to more accurately emulate PSX colours and transparencies. The Alpha value of a texture is how transparent it is.

Have U got MFC42.DLL Error in
other programs??

If the answer is !YES! thats means
your Win is (totaly) messed up!
Just reinstall Win or change it
to another OS - 4 example Linux.

A slightly less drastic cure is to install the latest MSVC RunTime libraries.
Read MS KB article Q259403 for download information.
Downloading VS6 SP5 is a bit extreme to just get the runtime libraries, so I suggest using the SP4 runtimes and see if that resolves the problem.

I just have reinstall my windows with win 98 after using windows Me, I use windows 98 because i need some programs running under DOS. btw, how about the harddisk is it possible because of the harddisk ,cause lately i've harddisk problems.
last but not least how do i know what is the best windows installer, the best software to install. Thanks

It is possible that harddisk problems have caused the corruption of files. If MFC42.DLL is corrupt, it could cause this problem. However, I would also expect it to cause problems with other programs that use MFC42.DLL, and there are a lot.
