Unhappy Ff9 italian version

Hi Gentlemen
Recently I have bought "final fantasy 9" pal (italian) version....
I know there are many and many threads about this game but i haven't found one that explain me why this (fantastic) game doesn't run on epsxe (1.5.2)
I've red there are some ppf files for fix the problem...but I'm unlucky....there aren't any ppf files for the italian version...
So, please, anybody knows how to runs it? Or I must put this game away until the great epsxe team resolve my problem?
I hope I haven't bored nobody with this thread.
Many thanx
Jalek

win xp pro
epsxe 1.5.2
pete ogl 1.63 (but today i'll install ver.1.65)
eternal spu 1.3

Unfortunately, there isn't a FF9 ita protection fix patch, so the game wont run on epsxe.. Atleast until the epsxe authors find a way to circumvent it.. You could for the moment try sub channel reading, but there is no gaurantee it will work either..

ePSXe team don't make the patches. Subchannel data can be extracted using Pete's plugin, and will probs work better.

You have to set it up. It's all on my page. IIRC, there isn't really another way to circumvent this problem.

Juts to let you know: Some kind member posted the sub channel files onto the board a while back. If your drive doesn't support sub channel reading you can use them instead to play ff9. I can't remember which thread it was though.
