Graphic Resulution is bad

Hello,
i am not very experienced with epsxe 1.5.2, but i like it. So i need your help - my graphic is very bad and i don't know, what to do. You can see on these pictures, that the resolution and colors are pretty strange - not fine enough. I have a Geforce 2 GTS, 1,2 Athon, 512 Ram, WinXP. The Video Plugin is the "Pete's OpenGL Driver 1.64". I guess my cofiguration is wrong, but i have no idea at all. I tried some things, but i don't get any solution. This bad graphic is not normal, or is it? If not, can somebody help me please? I would really appreciate it.

Set filtering to 1 or 2.. Standard or extended.. You can also try enabling sprite smoothing, screen smoothing, or 2xSAl..

Thank you! It's a little bit better, but still not good. Do you know something else? And where is the sprite smooth option? So far: Screen Smooth improved it a little bit. It still looks so "pixel - like" There are so many blocks...

It looks pixelly because it is Playstation. Playstation is 7 years old now! What do you expect? Plus you're playing it on a Monitor which is way clearer than the average T.V. so the pixellation is even easier to see. Anyways in most cases the "bad" graphics are normal.

No, it's completely useless, from my experience...

I've never noticed a difference, so I just leave it off.

Only in their dimensions onscreen -- there's no quality difference.

I used it, too. But then I got Tekken 3  . The screen size was totally messed up (large black bars left and right):rockets:

There is a quality difference, in the same way that running a game with 2d backgrounds in 800x600 will look worse than 640x480. If the aspect ratio is not correct, pixels are stretched, lowering image quality.
