Hello, i've been testing Tony Hawk 2.
The game runs very well, except that any memory card access makes epsxe crash. This is not the case however playing FF7,Hotshots golf, etc... I'm using Pete's plugins on a p3800,256meg, voodoo 5, sb128, system. Is this just a emulator problem, or is it my system? I read that earlier versions of epsxe had issues in this area.... Thanks for listening, 1up |

Doesn't that just create a savestate?
I meant that the game will either hang or crash epsxe when you try and save within the game. I wanted to let the makers of epsxe know about the problem....... It's all fine and good using savestates, but it defeats the purpose of the memorycards, dontcha' think? Now if there was a way to transfer the savestate to the memory card...... |

Actually, that isn't the problem. You press F4 if the emu stops responding. Here, the emu boots you to the desktop! F4 doesn't solve that

Yeah, that was happening to me too...
getting booted to the desktop. But i finally got it. You have to play career mode, then save career, the game will hang searching for the memory card. I just hit F4 like 7 times, then it found the card, and created a new save. After that, i no longer have to hit F4...it saves just fine after the initial save. It loaded just fine too. The only other problem i see is using Pete's D3d driver 1.50...the loading bar stops halfway. A minor thing at the least.... Lemony Fresh Victory Is Mine! |

That's really odd...I've never seen F4 solve a problem that boots you to the desktop. Anyways, the thing's only 1 CD long, so I'll stick with sstates
