ePSXe closing itself on startup

Hi!
I tried to set up ePSXe on another PC (HW config see below), keeping the settings I used before.
I'm using Pete's dx6 d3d driver.
When I try to run FF9, epsxe loads, opening a black window and then shutting itself down completely...
Would be thankful for any help, Shiva

HW config:

P2/350MHz on Win 98
192 MB SD-Ram
Graphic: SiS 6326 AGP 8MB Direct Draw 1.00
Mainboard MSI MS-6119

does it run with a soft gpu?

afaik on my other system i didn't use one, in fact I don't have the faintest idea what a soft gpu is.

PEOPs, Kazzuya's or E}I{'s plugins are software based, so are generaly more compatible.

So what would ya suggest?
Pete's working fine on one PC, but the other one sucks...

have you tried if it does the same with other games? are you using iso or cd?

i just have FF9 at hand...
Neither iso nor cd working, but the problem is the same... :shout:

Hmmm.

Make sure you have the latest drivers for Video and Sound.
Try removing the ePSXe registry entries and start configuration again

I can't really thing of anything else to suggest, sorry.

what was the other hw config that u got it working for? maybe the settings on that comp conflicts with the one u are using now.

P3 500MHz on a
ASUS P3B-F Mainboard (440bx chipset)
running on windose me
Matrox Millenium G400 32MB graphic card
creative sb gold
256MB sd-ram
