Fear Effect 2 problems

ok, I'm using ePSXe with FE2, and the game freezes at a certain screen change. I've tried everything, from using other video pluguns and etc. Anyone know how to fix something like this? My settings for the vid plugun are:

Plugin: Pete's OpenGL Driver 1.1.62
Author: Pete Bernert
Card vendor: NVIDIA Corporation
GFX card: GeForce2 MX/AGP/3DNOW!

Resolution/Color:
- 1024x768 Fullscreen - Desktop changing [32 Bit]
- Keep psx aspect ratio: off

Textures:
- R8G8A8A8
- Filtering: 2
- Garbage collection: on
- VRam size: 0 MBytes

Framerate:
- FPS limitation: on
- Frame skipping: off
- FPS limit: Auto

Compatibility:
- Offscreen drawing: 3
- Framebuffer texture: 2
- Alpha multipass: on
- Mask bit: on
- Advanced blending: on

Misc:
- Scanlines: off
- Line mode: off
- Unfiltered FB: off
- Dithering: off
- Screen smoothing: off
- Full vram: off
- Game fixes: off [00000040]

also, I'm using the original CD, not a backup as I couldn't burn a backup copy of the first disk for some reason as it freezes at 5%. The game also freezes when the screen change occurs. Does anyone else have this problem?

i just did, but I sent Bobbi like 2 emails this past week and msged him on ICQ, nothing. Hopefully he'll fix this soon. In the meantime, do you know how to fix my ePSXe problem?

please help quickly. Is their any patches or command lines that will get me past this problem. I think its something wrong with the screen change because the next screen has to do with shooting steam which may be freezing up ePSXe.
