Why all cd plug-ins dont detect my cdrom driver?

I have a Sony 36x CD-ROM Driver. I've played a lot of games with this driver and with diferent plug-ins. But now all cd plug-ins dont show anymore my driver in that list to select driver, the list is empty, so i cant play anymore games from cds. Anyone know why?
Please help me!

Check that the plugins folder still exists and that the cd plugin files arwe located there. Failing that download the registry cleaner from batard.psxfanatics.com and then reinstall.

I think this problem only happens when you're running extremely low on ram. EPSXE uses alot of memory and memory swap(virtual memory) to load up the dll's, so make sure you don't have several other task running and always maintain enough harddrive space(more than 150mb). 150 I think is the minimum harddrive swap mark for windows to run properly so if you have below that, chances are your running programs might become unstable, that especially apply to EPSXE.

My suggestion to you is either restart the computer and see if it helps or disabling some task. I can't guarantee the latter suggestion, but the former one always manage to solve the problem for me.

Also you may need to update your ASPI layer especially if you updated to an NT class OS.

this happened to me when i uninstalled daemon tools (kept getting a dll error on windows startup). i just used SaPus CD driver, because that one doesnt look for the driver, it just asks to to tell it where to look.
