Got a problem...Cant get Epsxe to work. V1.4 seems to better than 1.5 Thats not saying much since I cant get the game to load. Have all the configs right (so I think) I get the main Sony logo, and thats it. Help! I am a newbie, so take heart

Specs? Celeron 633. 64 megs. NVIDIA TNT2. 48X built in cd. Game is F1 Championship. Using PE OPS Soft Driver 1.4, default sound, and default cd plugins. I get the EA Sports title screen and the title screen to the game, and then nothng. I hear the cd run and then it stops. Thanks for the help!

first get peops 1.5..did you try epsxe version 1.52? and try pressing f4 after it hangs.

Im using 1.4 now. I have a 1.5, but I dont even get as far as the title screen. Its all black! I installed a Force ASPI (?) it thats any help

1.4 and 1.5 what? you need to be descriptive. psx 1.52 has fixed a lot of bugs not 1.5 or were you talking about peops?

I was using 1.5.1 I just downloaded 1.5.2 and Pete's 1.6 gpu plugin (?)

about your problem, try enabling subchannel support.

they are opengl and d3d plugins good ones too. opengl should work best for you.i forgot about that option...you can try making an iso.

Tried Pete's Open Gl 1.6...black screen. Now, its D3d 1.6...black screen. Going to reboot and see if that helps

ok that means it is not a gpu problem....it could either a cdrom problem or a emu glitch.

black screens? try hitting F4 while it happens, it might helps.
Atleast for me, on Tenchu 2.

As far as making an ISO, I have no idea on how to do that. I am using the 'run cd' option'. I tried all 3 gpu's and got as far as a half white/black screen for about 2 secs, then it went black again. I'll try the subchannel support. How come I can get farther with 1.4 than with this 1.5.2?

dont use petes opengl... peops was just right..

1. make an iso image using any software like wincdr, nero or isobuster
2. use petes cdr plugin
3. use petes spu plugin too cause it fixes the bug on the game crash team racing just like that one...
