Both Bloody Roar 2 and Driver 2 run choppy on ePSXe. The CDs are scratch free and run fine on my real playstation. I tried messing with the GPU plugin settings in Pete's D3d 1.61 and OGL 1.61.

You're cd drive might not be reading the data at a sufficent rate. Try running from an iso.
