first get the BIOS you can find it in any search engine but its hard thats illegal here in giving bios...

second download the epsxe plugins hhere or at www.aldostools.com

and follow the step by step procedure in the emu...

use petes opengl plugin in the video
use eternal spu in the sound
use the internal epsxe core in the cd-rom
use the scph 1001 Bios

Yup....and if u post your specs (i mean all of it...) it should help a little more since not every plugin is compatible with XP (like Lewpys....if u happen to have a voodoo card)....but as he said, pete's plugins are a good choice....
To install the plugins is quite easy, and u will probably not get troubled with it, but to configure, it will be more easy if u search here in Ngemu for the epsxe plugins authors pages, there u will find (i'm almost sure) at least what u need to configure the plugin in order to just run a game...the enhanced options u will get later i guess...its not that hard to learn it......
Well...that's it...

For that card you'll definately want to use Pete's OGL or D3D plugin vers. 1.61 The 7502 bios is the one reccomended by the ePSXe authors themselves. Do a search on Google to find sites that have it. The Eternal SPU 1.30 works great for most people's sound needs, but the internal (built in) SPU that comes w/ePSXe is excellent as well. For the CD rom Plugin, I reccomend SAPU's CD Plugin or the internal (built in) one that comes w/ePSXe. I use the internal all the time and have no problems at all. However, Sapu's CD plugin is excellent as well. I would also reccomend getting ePSXe ver 1.52, that is the latest version out and it is excellent. The latest version and all the plugins may be found by looking on the NGEmu.com main page, or by going to www.aldostools.com, as was said. Read the readme that comes w/the emulator and you should have no trouble getting up and running.
sincerely,

Reichfuher, names of places or links to place that specifically have the PSX bios are forbidden to be posted here. If you want the bios then you must search for it yourself. I already gave him a very broad hint about how to do that. I will be editing that name out of your post and I very STRONGLY suggest that you don't do it again. Reading the rules and following them would be a very good idea for you to do if you want to remain here on the boards.

That's not strictly true: my plugin is perfectly compatible with WindowsXP, it's just 3dfx never released official drivers that supported Glide under WindowsXP
There are plenty of 3rd party driver sets that support Glide under WindowsXP, and I have been developing under such a system for the last 6+ months.

Delita is coorect. You must put everything in the proper folders for it all to function. If the folders did not come w/the ePSXe.exe then here are the folders you'll need to make. Plugins (for your Video, Sound, and CD Rom plugins). Make sure to put the .dll files (these are the actual plugins) in here. Bios (your bios goes in here). And Snap (if you want to take screenshots while in game you must have this folder). You can also make a folder called docs (to put your documents in). Just make a 3 new folders, name them plugins, bios, and snap, put your plugins in where they go and your bios where it goes and then ePSXe should work fine for you.

I have had Windows XP for 8 months now and all I can say is I have only found 2 compatibility problems so far with the OS. Yes they are both games: Quake 2 and Ultima VII

put your "bios" in your bios folder, same as "plugins" to your plugins folder. in this case you will have no problem.
