Question FF7 (maybe a dumb ? or something not working right)

Ok I run FF7 in epsxe. I get the Sony Entertainment title, the squaresoft title, then the credits, and then the FF7 logo, but there is no menu and I've hit every single button on the controller and nothing is happening. The credits and the logos just keep looping. I've tried messing w/ the game fixes and still nothing? Either I am a complete idiot or something isn't working right. I think there may be a menu missing somewhere there.

sorry

Yeah probably so, sorry I just wasn't sure if it was the emulator messing up or me just being stupid and not pressing the right button or something

Try pressing F5. It will set your controller to digital only. Then FF VII should work.
You are right Delita, this really does belong in the ePSXe forum since it pertains to FF VII not working w/ePSXe. I'll move it there right now.
sincerely,

No!

You only pressed the wrong button. In FF7 the standard action button is the O and not the X (Don't panic - you can reconfigure the controller in the game)!

Talking thanks

Setting the controller to digital only fixed the problem. I had it set to digital/analog originally.

Glad to help. Some games require digital only mode in order to work.
