Hi there, i have a question about this game,
so the thing is that this game plays perfectly for me but i have a sound problem. While i am able to hear the music during the game and in cut-scenes i am not able to listen anything about what they say during the game. I am not sure if you get me but i mean the really dialogues that let you understand what is happenning during the game.
Any helps would be thankfull

Yeah, i have the same problem too. Whenever, play the dialogues there is a little part of beginning played and stopped...

I had the same problem with RE3
and i have no idea how exactly i fix it

I use Pete's D3D 1.61 video plugin
but when i change the video(YES, VIDEO) plugin to something else and the problem with the speech is back

funny thing when i use CD-R instead of image. i got sound for dialogues.However, the sound at the opening screen of New Game is very choppy.... any clue?

yeah when i played re3 during cut scenes sound would skip maybe it was my cd though

Enable accurate cd rom timing.should work fine.If not, try epsxe 1.4 .Newer versions are showing problems in Resident evil sounds.

i think the next version had fixed xenogears...

maybe they can get it fix too....

i just hope so cause i want to play that game again...

I played RE3 pal with ePSXe 1.4.0 and didn't have any sound problems.

I used Iori's plugin.

Play the game in vgs it works just fine.-)

you guys got it lucky....mine wont even play!!!!! damn it!!!! and i payed good money for it hoping i could get an emulator for it

Download the ppf patch from ngemu ppf patches section.

Try "Read ahead" and not "async read"in the CDRom plugin. Don't use Iso image, i have the same problem with dino crisis 2 and now it's works. I use eternal spu plugin with default options.

Well when i use iso i get the speech problem to but when i try to burn it to cd and play it it doesnt work. What happens is the cd will start reading then stop every 2-3 seconds and not do anything. Anyone know how to succesfully burn this and what burning app to use and is there a patch for the ntsc version?
