Wihich is the best SPU Plugin?

I think te best SPU Plugin is veritas (but is a hack). Second is the Eternal and Third is Pete's Direct Sound.

Afaik Veritas is exactly the same as Eternal, right? And it's a hack which isn't going to improve things.

But i discover no more glitches in MGS

Try it if you didn't believe me. Veritas is much better for speed and compatiblity but the reverb is not too good compare to Eternal.

Unless it sounds strange (which almost never happens), I use Eternal.

no. no... the fastest is null's ... gives me 10fps extra in gt2 with my system... but in terms of +speed/-glitches i vote for veritas.

I think internal one is best(considering all aspects like compatibility,speed and no configuration needs).Since its not given I voted for pete's dsound.

I personally think Eternal is the best considering the sound quality it produce. This plugin also very compatible and I rarely use other SPU plugin to play most of my games

i personaly think that veritas is faster than eternal its not cause its a hack plugin....

they hacked it and maybe change just alittle bit of code in the spu

I think eternal is the best, but I can't seem to get v1.2 to work on my computer.
I have to use v1.1 to make things sound good.

none of them is best!! some times, only "this" can work with the "xxx" game and sometimes only "that" can work with the "yyy" game... All theses plugins are very good, we can't choose just one...

I admit the fact that we cant choose only one plugin, but can you at least tell us your favourite SPU plugin (the one you use the most).
