Question Going crazy with these plugins!

My BIOS file is fine, It's just my stupid sound plugin. Whenever I use the Null2 sound plugin for Jet Moto 2, Jet Moto 2 works fine, but Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 kinda "Skips" with the plugin. When I use the Epsxe sound plugin, It's exactly the opposite. Jet Moto 2 becomes sluggish and THPS 2 works great. The Pete's DirectSound plugin doesn't work with both. Help me before I chuck my monitor out the door!

Yeah, the problem is probably XA sound and your frame rate. Null2 will give better emulated sound than the internal SPU on those games, but Null is slower. As your system slows down and your frame rate does, sound on the XA channel will skip and/or crackle. The other channels probably will not skip, they will slow down relative to the frame rate slow down (basically just play in slow-mo). Just make sure you keep your framerate at about 55-60 fps and you should have no sound skipping, XA or otherwise

stupid computer froze, so long thing short, the plugin is great, but I found a program that lets me set different configs for different games for Epsxe. So I fixed the problem, but now I got a problem with Syphron Filter 2. The Null2 SPU seems to be the only plugin with decient sound for the game, but the sound "skips" causing the framerate to go down. I've tried every possible combination for the Null2, but now i'm woundering if it could be the GPU causing the problem...

You should use Iori's lite DSound plugin. Sound processing really slows down the rest of the emulation, at least it isn't so bad with Iori's plugin. Tests have shown that Eternal sometimes slows down the emu action as much as Null2's, but not as worse.

I fixed the problem, but I didn't notice any difference between the Iori's lite and the regular Iori's. It is suppose to be a different version?

Iori's lite contains less funcs, and thus is less cpu stressing.
