Unhappy Help me get started

Help me anybody, i downloaded epsxe 1.5.1 and have the bios file and i also downloaded a plugin pack with a bunch of files. i also downloaded a memorycard manager.

i ran the program and configured it properly (i think) but when i try to run cd i get a init error on my screen and when i click okay the dos window says something about the sound not working. If somebody could tell me the easiest way to get started i would appreciate it

Give us more info, like your specs, the plugins you're using, their configuration, etc.
