check your cd/iso settings. If the logo comes up that usually means the emu is unable to locate a game. More info on your plugin setting might help.

Install forceaspi (downloadable from the psx section) to fix that.

I already installed forceaspi and yet i get the error message when i try to configure the plugin. But the error message pops up only once during a session. Is this problem something to do with windows XP ?

Nope its to do with the outdated tsg cd plugin. If you delete the any files with these letters from your plugins folder. It'll disappear.

In the CDROM settings, make sure you do NOT have Accurate CDROM Timing checked. That screen may appear when trying to run a game that doesn't need it.

Also, if you use the -slowboot flag having Accurate CDROM Timing checked will not work at all even if its for a game that needs it.

That's due either to a scratch or dirt on the disk. Give it a wipe with a cloth and if that doesn't work make an iso file.
