Chrono Cross Help Please!

I am trying to run Chrono cross with ePSXe 1.5...
everything seems to run fine except when i go into a battle after the twiley screen i see the enemies but before i see any battle options or anything the game crashes. it kicks me right out to windows.
i tried pressing f7 and turning no sound on but they had no effect.
i have tried like every option in Pete's Open GL driver and i cant seem to get it to work (i dont know if thats even the problem)

the error i get is exactly this:
* Closing core spu...
* Closing gpu...
* Shutdown gpu...
Opcode 2f UNK <PC 00000080> <5186,251>

that number 5186,251 is different each crash the rest is the same...

could someone please help me?
thank you.

Try running from the original cd. If it works, then you have a bad bin, and you'll have to make the bin again.

Andronicus
Thanks for the info. I have been using Isobuster for awhile and I agree it is a great program. I will give CDRWin a try.
Thanx
