gravis eliminator game pad pro

I have a gravis eliminator controller. i can use it on the emulators for other systems, but not on the ePSXe. this is the best emulator i have found, so i really want to get this to work. Is there a plug in i need or something? thanks to anyone that can help

I have a gravis Xterminator (somewhat similar), just use the xperience software to change properties on the controller. If worse comes to worse you can always map the keys through the xperience utility.

Still trouble.

Liquid, thanks for the reply. i mapped the keystrokes to correspond with the buttons. the directional buttons work fine, but the action buttons aren't registerring. i am not quite sure what you meant by properties. i didn't see a properties selection. but i am new to this controller. it appears the only thing it lets me configure is the axis and the butons from direct x to keystrokes. it is also USB, would that cause any trouble? thanks again!
