What I can't understand is it still require CDROM timing to be enabled eventhough I dumped everything on ISO.

And does this game require a humungous processing power? I'm having trouble controlling the cars with this setting

allthough it requires a powerful pc, it should run just fine on that one.
Make sure you enable PC fps calculation...

I use the internal spu 1.5 for GT2 and the music is fine without any special game fixes..

.....there are also a few things I got wrong :o =P

but I'm pretty sure that, if you enabled pc fps calculation, the music will speed up regularly on for example midfield speedway (fyi it will work normally on tahiti road).

If you fire up your Gt2 arcade disc and do a race at midfield speedway, you'll either have choppy movement (pc fps calculation disabled) or music speeding up (pc fps calculation enabled), also with the internal spu.

Nope.. I just did that and my music and race was fine.. 60fps all the time with perfect music using the internal spu.. Maybe it's because I am using lewpys glide pluggin.. I am running at a resolution of 800x600 with 4xFSAA enabled.. Full speed, no choppy movement, perfect music.. No special game fixes either..

I don't have a problem with sound either. It runs fine using both Eternal and Internal.

It's the control that bothers me. All cars seem to react slowly to the control. I even tried switching from joypad to keyboard (made little sense really, but I was pretty desperate) and as expected, nothing changes.

I'm thinking about dissing this MX200 and go for a Ti. Since GF4s are coming out soon, the price should be more bearable in a few more days.

Will it help?

I guess lewpy's glide plugin handles the speed in that game better then...
