Dpad Axis too sensitive!

Config: Sector 7 psx to usb converter with ps1 controller (registers as a generic HID usb controller), on vista OS. epsxe 1.60

Issue: Whenever I press up/down, it moves my cursor across 2 menu items. Makes it impossible to select odd numbered menu options with the controller.
Tested with tekken 3 main menu and ToD2 main menu.

I also have an old MS wingman usb, but it is too unresponsive for fast action.

is it just the dpad or does it do this with the analog sticks as well?

its impossible for the Dpad 'axis' to be too senstive, as the DPAD consists of 4 directional buttons, and is not on an axis.

It is possible, a turbo like effect is taking place, and while this does happen for some, the fix isn't always available.

Yep, no analog. You are correct squall, it seems to register a double press.

make sure the input 2 isn't assigned to the same buttons as input 1.
