ePsxe Permissions

Hi, I've been running epsxe on my pc for a few weeks now with no problems but when I went to play today I got a message saying

Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item.

I'm running Windows xp and I'm the administrator,

I've never had a problem before today, can anyone please help?

The message appears when you open the emulator or when you try to play the games?.

Maybe you (or someone) deleted a file or something like that, try redownloading the plugins and emulator.

Could be someone lol, my 4 year old is always messing about with the pc when I'm at work

... I did try redownloading the Emu but still get the same message

I down loaded another emulator and that works fine the only problem is I'm about 15 hours into an rpg and I've only saved on save states, so it would mean starting over from the begining

Delete the whole folder just save the save states and mem cards, try downloading everything again.

still get the same thing also whenever I dowload epsxe my virus protection says it's a trojan? I gusse I'll just start the game again using pSX

If you have ANG antiF**K installed than you may take a look at this

ePSXe F***with F*****g AVG

Aye I do have AVG **** instaled.... and I was downloading from the official site.. I have been runing epsxe for weeks now with no problems and I've shut off AVG and tired it but I'm still getting a permissions message

tried everything from the other thread aswell to no avail

just gonna cut my losses and start again... just going to jam my finger on pSX's fast forward button till I get to where I was... thanks for the help guys.

right click the epsxe folder, and click properties, click the securties and tick allow all for the everyone usergroup.
