Final Fantasy XI ISO question

I have the version of Final Fantasy XI that skips during in game cutscenes, the disc is clean as a whistle. No scratches or fingerprints, always had a D-skin over all my FF disc. But my question was, if I make an ISO of the disc, would they still skip during CG? Or is it programmed into the disc?

it depends, your skipping could be due to it not being able to read the cd fast enough, so an ISO might help in your case. Give it a go, you've nothing to lose

read this thread to show you how to do it and avoid the .iso format, you want to use either .bin/.cue, .ccd/.img/.sub, or mdf/mds.

Or is it programmed into the disc? __________________ There's something majestic about sliding that shifter into first, having the back tires grip the ground, the tires peel back and shoot off like a rubber band zipping you along, your car rising off the ground, you cant make out what's going past you, you just know... I'm going fast... And no... You're Ricer can't do this.
