Try to re-download and re-install the emu and set everything up again, if this is a new issue.
Maybe you changed something you didn't realize.

Have tried playing from cd and using mooby plugin with subchannel but problem remains I have also tried different graphics and sound plugins too
Tried basic graphics settings and optimized ones too...

1 - He's repporting a simple problem....(check screenshots)
2 - Can't make a relation between the first & secon scrshots,,,no relation between the simple problem he's about and the message he gets.
3 - did get another thread (annoying boy) about hdw!! problem/c++ coding

And I'm preety sure he's about to fake around, and the first scrshot shows all stuff he's about, I did got that problem too, and its nothing more than what I did posted/answred in first steps,,,but I guess he's about (I'm new here, Need to talk, need....),,,anyway....he should/must try a lot before posts some...

I did actually do what you said in your first reply but my problem is that even with logs disabled the window comes up and i get the error when closing.

and what is supposed to be fake exactly???

its not a game bug or emulator bug, its related to the api the video plugin is using, not releasing the screen correctly, mudlord corrected a bug in VBA-M recently which left windows like this bug it was entirely a different cause.

in this case, its due to using Dx6, It would be best to move to the Dx7 plugin or even opengl1 as these updated apis shouldn't have the problem.

The problem seems to have been fixed now.
I tried the different plugins but the problem remained then i tried upping the resolution to 1024x768 and this fixed it but with every other resolution the window comes up. Would this mean that its a graphics controller problem rather than a epsxe one?
