black lines in lod
alrite well i settled with ogl2 plugin and id just put up with the drop to 30 fps on battle transitions/some cutscenes with special animations but after a while it got annoying on EVERY single battle and halfway through some cutscenes itd lag out the ass, ruining the gameplay
i tried d3d and dx6 d3d with the same settings, but with both i get these black lines on the screen ![]() ![]() now, the image quality looks almost just as good as it does with ogl2 so i like that, and the battle transition only goes down 0-5 fps now so i want to see if i can use this instead settings for d3d/dx6 d3d res: 800x600 - 32 bit textures: R8G8B8A8 hi-res textures - 0 texture filtering - 0 (i tried 2 too, they were still visible and it blurred the hell out of the screen) gfx card vram - 0 framerate: use fps limit - checked fps limit - 60.0 compatibility: off screen drawing - 2 advanced blending - 2 framebuffer textures - 0 framebuffer access - 4 alpha multipass - checked mask bit - checked misc: unfiltered framebuffer updates - checked special game fixes - 0x0020 checked comp specs just in case are: amd 2.2 ghz nvidia 6150 onboard 64 mb core/256 total 1 gb ram vista o my bad i think this was supposed to go in the game compatibility section, if it belongs there move it please Last edited by suspectXI; May 8th, 2008 at 04:58. |

these are the settings i used for the d3d plugin, you might want to give the OGL1 plugin a go as well with a setup similar to this:

ogl1 is getting the same results as d3d/dx6 d3d; random lines all over the place
another thing i noticed is with both d3ds and ogl1, not only the black lines but the shadows are missing in battle on the characters am i just stuck with ogl2? |
