Memory card wiped and saved states gone
So I installed ePSXe a few days ago to play FF7. I probably hadn't shut down my computer since installation and got towards the end of disc 1 over the past few days.
I shut down my computer. When I fired it up and went to play ff7, I discovered that the mem cards were blank and all my save sates were gone. I run a dell Inspiron E1505 with vista Any ideas what happened? |

make sure your memory card and save state folders/files are not write protected or "read-only". this can be checked by right clicking the folder or file in question, going into "properties", and on the menu that comes up it usually has something like "read-only" that you can tick/untick. also make sure the emulator is directed to those folders and files (this can be checked in the GUI config).
