game intros/fmv/cinematics/movies are slow+skipping

ignore my other thread, i thought it was a problem with epsxe, but i got the same thing with every emulator other than psx that i tried

battle animations/movies in legend of dragoon/breath of fire 4 slowdown the game really bad, also somtimes sound messes up; so whats the fix for it?

is it a video/sound or cd plugin problem? or i need to download something?

amd 2.2 ghz rated @ 3600
onboard nvidia 6150 64 mb core 256 mb total
1 gb ram
vista

epsxe:
version 1.6.0
video - have them all (tried fast+nice defaults)
sound - tried default and eternal SPU 1.4 w/ 3/4 boxes checked
cdrom - tried default and xeven's cdr .93

have you tried the software plugins or are the hardware plugins the only ones you have tested so far?

yeah, tried them all peop gl/gl2/d3d/d3d dx6/peop software all their latest versions

just cant understand what im doing wrong, psx is the only emulator that runs flawless

i thought it was the cdrom plugin but i tried about 3 of those and that didnt help either

what are you playing from, discs or images?

discs; 2 are greatest hits the other are regular

they all have the same problem tho

alrite im ruling out video plugin as the problem; i just tried them all again at fast/nice defaults and they all skipped the exact same way on the game's intro movies (legend of dragoon/breath of fire IV)

it didnt seem to effect speed of how it ran in anyway, so could a sound/cdrom be whats wrong with it? ive tried those all out im pretty sure unless theres some that arent on ngemu i can try

i made a .bin image using poweriso and it runs damn perfect now just like psx did, only better graphics cuz of epsxe's plugins

guess all the cd plugins dont work for my specific cd drive or something
