Someday ePSXe will be open source?

I'm not saying that the developers need to open the emulator right now, but maybe when they decide to stop the development. What do you think?

I only know, that Zinc/Impact/PSXPro should be open source sometimes in future if the devs finally decide to release it.
But I don't see that coming in near future, because the only thing that hold them back from updating and releasing was MAME Plus Plus, but now, after several month and the dead of MAME Plus Plus they never said anything about that and won't IMO.
