no its the version of epsxe i was talking about. some games, specifically CC and FF9, are unstable under 1.6.0 and for the most trouble-free gameplay must be played on 1.5.2.

so anything else besides chrono cross and final fantasy 9 should not be played on the 1.6.0?well,i have this 1.6.0 version (i didnt even know it lol) but chrono cross is still crapping up on me,its too fast and wont work past hiting "new game"

technically they can run on 1.6.0 but like i said, its unstable. with CC you can try using the -noauto command switch but and i cant say for sure that you wont run into any problems.

i suggest you just go with 1.5.2, you set it up the same way you have 1.6.0 so it should be pretty familiar to you. the only thing you need to make sure of if you use 1.5.2 is that you enable the "odd/even bit hack" game fix that is found in the video plugin config, this fix corrects a lockup issue. if the game is running too fast it usually means you dont have the fps limit enabled in the video plugin config or if you are using a multi-core cpu, having epsxe running under more than one cpu core is known to cause issues with speed (ive seen it happen as slowdown and the opposite).
