Hey, Omegainf, I was just wonderring what is your video card's performance when playing epsxe with the new shaders. Cuz I want to replace my fx5500 with a 9600xt since that dang old card just doesn't do well on anything more than px shader 1.0 and I can get the 9600xt for around $60.

May I ask what currency is it? And I do have a 9800pro already on my main computer, as said on my signature. I want to have a 9600xt mainly because I have a microatx AMD64 2800+ that does not haave a descent power supply
But thanks for the heads up anyway. Man, I just dig up some of my old cds and I found out that I actually have final fantasy tactics (that cd is quite scratched, when you can actually see the marks on a black surface, its really somethin)

mind posting a walkthru as well :P i have this game... never beat it... never got 1/4 into it... i study the battle mechanics... learn the zodiac signs and the weaknesses... plan out my moves in great detail... yet i still get the sh** kicked out of me... its like no matter how hard i try i'm still doing something wrong... maybe i'm just over-thinking it...

an easy way to up your skills if you're lacking is to fight a random battle, beat all enemies except for one and then beat yourself up. you still get experience points for fighting yourself and this especially helps if you're having problems keeeping up with the computer's difficulty. I haven't beat this game yet but i've played it alot and i've beat ffta i just never got to finish this one. don't give up because ask anybody who's played it and they'll probably tell you it's one of the greatest strategy games of all time (i would anyway). i'm currently trying to get it to run without using my ps disc so i can finally finish this game.
G/L and remember everything you do gives exp so even if you're not doing anything do something. always have an option (even if it's useless-you still get exp) available to do at any time whether you're fighting or not-never skip a character's action-you're skipping his exp gain try to beat it without a strategy guide first-it's more fun & challenging, just remember-ALWAYS ACT! -well, off i go to beat FFT. Good Luck! |
