eh... FF tactics isn't for everyone. being a fan of FF in general would not give you enough resolve to playing the game. it requires too much time and effort for one who might not be all that impressed with strategy/rpgs. as far as strategy/rpgs go, theres not much better, unless too much character customization overwhelms you.

i hate tactics games. mainly because A. they are super boring to me and B. i don't really understand em. maybe those things are related.

meh, whats not to understand? all you do is move around on a little grid and hit things. with a few other details like terrain height difference, which side of them you're hitting, and weapon/spell range. otherwise, its the same as a regular RPG.

i dont like keeping track of all that type of crap, i dont know, that type of combat isnt my flavor.

Kinda like Arc the lad 3. (never played the rest of 'em)

Ogre Battle 64 is probably my favorite Strategy RPG, and I think it pretty well slaps FFT all over the place. I also like Tactics Ogre... which a lot of people hated, so take my comments as you will. (My only problem with OB64 is the overpowering Dragon magic in the game, pretty much the same in Tactics Ogre, but hey, in FFT you get Orlandu, and he's a walking death machine.)

Hahaha! Well, I prefer Fire Emblem series for tactical RPGs. They're wonderful!
