nice screenies . ( uoooohhhh I love Rinoa) on tip , you can switch off the battle states by pressing the Selectbutton @youre controler , while you make the sceenshout. (only in FF8?).

Bringing this back from the dead

I've tried all of the settings mentioned here, using both OGL and OGL2, and I still have the same problems. First, the battle swirls are a no-go. They are just these really ugly blackish screens. Also, when I start a card game, there is like a 4 second pause where the audio loops. Any ideas?
