talk about you don't need any filtering..

Most plugins support it, why not use it? unless ur outputting it to a tv....

i just use the extended-unfiltered 2d. i try to keep it close to the psx thats why.

here's my cfg's:

i generally use pete's d3d plugin (dx6 one), i don't know why the opengl plugin crashes when entering battles

this plugin is fast in some cases but i highly reccommend the soft plugin though. (you'll see what i mean when you enter the dungeon of efreet).

sound: iori's directsound spu (click default, then check all options)
cdrom: epsxe internal (no options checked)

ps. config the video to your liking.
