Andy's spu was pretty good for this game, but damn, the eternal spu pluggin is just amazing with this game.. Near perfect sound for Vagrant story.. The sounds are rather loud but they sound perfect..

After seeing this...I just realized nVidia always sucked. I always wanted my voodoo 4 back from 1 of my friends who took it. :P Any ways I bidded on 6 Voodoo 5 AGP on ebay.

I WANT THIS CARD!!! ARGH!!! Nice screen shots...Is this game worth buying it?

Hey tom_e...

I suggest you get the pci version of the voodoo 5 as its performance is only slightly less than the agp version.. I think it costs more than the agp version though.. This way you can use both your geforce and the voodoo 5.. I don't suggest buying any video card just for one game.. But personally, I have been more than happy with my voodoo 5 5500 agp running emulators as well as pc games.. As you can tell from these screenshots.. But you gotta admit, its not just the voodoo 5 thats giving us this quality of graphics in epsxe.. Its also lewpys glide pluggin which is extremely good combined with the voodoo 5.. Actually, lewpy himself uses a voodoo 5 5500 pci and a geforce 2 on his agp..

HOW do u actually use 2 video cards? You mean like...change the monitor cord on the back every time u want to play some other game? Eh? I heard about overclocking ur video card and doing some thingys and using 2 video card at the same time. Can you tell me more?

WEll, I use to have a trident mvp blade video card and a voodoo3 on one system.. I was able to use glide with the monitor connected to the trident card.. Most likely you will be able to use two monitors at once.. I was able to as well.. So you can play games on one monitor while someone else uses MS works on the other monitor.. Of course you will need a powerful multitasking cpu.. It might also be possible to use the glide api of the v5 from the monitor being connected to the geforce on the agp.. I don't have the setup so I can't really say.. You can always email lewpy about it since he has that dual video card setup..

I did overclock my voodoo 5 to 175mhz from the default 166.. I heard some people have been able to get it up to 183 mhz.. Personally, I wouldn't recommend it... OC-ing your video card gives you very few extra FPS.. The best thing to do would be OC-ing your cpu and FSB... This will give you more of a performance boost..

I heard over clocking was very bad for the video cards. Hhhmmm..Is this true? And if over clocking makes better graphics...How do u overclock video cards?

There are certain software tools which can be used to OC video cards.. It is bad to OC video cards if you aren't carefull.. YOu can burn your video card and then will need to get a new one.. Just be careful not to OC it too high.. Most of the time, OC-ing the video card too much will just crash windows or freeze it.. But some rare instances it will burn your vid card..

Software to OC any type of video card is easy to find.. Do a simple search and you will find many..

YOu can find some OC and tweaking utilities for all video cards at
