i notice in one of your shots, in the battle scene you have the same problem i had with the yellow blocks, i started using the opengl2 plug in and now it does not show up no more but i had to work with the configuration to get it back to working perfectly on my system again.

Is the yellow block suppose to be there?

oh man....that's running soooooo slowwwwwwww....how can you take that? try these settings.

if you enable texture filtering, remember to enable stretching so the world map ground/battle floors/etc look nice and not tiled.

Reall, that's horribly slow. Should be full speed with a P3 733 and GF2MX.. Try these settings, if not a bit lower res/color depth. Try to lower sound quality settings if they're high, aswell.

I believe that option is selected.

I have the game windowed when I took the snapshot. That might make a difference in frame count.

No way ,OGL2 is ugly with Final Fantasy 9. Best to use 1.75 with 6xAA.

I always use these:

Compatibility:
- Offscreen drawing: 2
- Framebuffer texture: 3
- Framebuffer access: 0

Full effects, doesn't get those ugly yellow blocks and such...

some good looking shots there. but only 640x480? bump it up! your card can handle it.

your "keep psx aspect ratio" is driving me nuts too

but, it's a great game....i loved FF9, i beat it on PSX and on ePSXe.
