DD the n64 DISK DRIVE, it was supposed to be an add-on to n64. I don't know if it ever got released in JAP, but I've heard that it did, but in VERY limited quantities.

i beleive that that is the GC version he has there. dont know how he got it to play. the proof that its the gc version is easy. the n64 version has the green circle for the sword and the blue circle button for the action button. just like the colors on an n64 controller. the gc version changed the colors to red for the sword and green for action. like in those pics.
and another possibility would be that they are fake pics :P

He stated earlier that it was a dump from the GC version. Another way to tell is to look at its copyright date, 2003

Here I go... I just started it, and the only small difference are in the dungeons... My guess is that the GC can run N64 game, or that nintendo made a n64 emu just for this game... Anyway, it work #1 on nemu64

in GCN it has changed to use L button to target
and C button like left,right,down become x,y,z
(GCN controller is different)
go to cube.ign.com find whats changed
http://cube.ign.com/articles/378/378907p1.html
and see this rom is the same with it or not
When you want to save a game in GCN version
it will change to a new save window ,this rom is also like that!

What the hell are you guys talking about nintendo making an n64 emulator for this game, or an n64 emu for GC. This game was simply PORTED to GC, no emulators were made just for it. And nintendo made no Emulator either. :eyes:

edit: xisiyiz, the nes had a disk drive too? Rumor of fact?
Nice link to the 64dd BTW

The ROm for this game was apparently ripped from the GC disc which leads us to believe otherwise.

Like Kane says.....it HAS to be an N64 Rom. If it isnt then how the heck would it work. I mean if it was ported, then that would mean that N64 emus can read GC games!
