Recca, no actually I did not mean it that way at all. I ment does it make you fell better knowing that I was cheating for good reason, rather than cheating just for cheatings sake. I did not mean to upset you and I am truly sorry if I did. I hope you will accept my appology.
sincerely,

Thanks cooliscool. Yes I had an OEM 9700 pro for short time back in October, but I got discouraged and went back to my "trusty" TI 4600. So the 9700 pro went "bye bye". Well, I decided to give it a try again, but this time I have an authentic ATI 9700 pro (not an OEM version) and with the new Catalyst drivers and Rage3D Tweaker, I find I am liking this card very very much.
sincerely,

Phew thats good to hear. I actually thought you meant it in a negative way. Most people cheat if its for a good cause, or at least i do and i know you do too.
Anyways no need to apologize.

please explain the technical differences between an oem 9700 pro and an "authentic" 9700 pro.

from what i understand, they are the exact same thing =/

You are correct, entropy. They are the exact same thing except w/the OEM you don't get the software that you do w/an original manufactures product, even you driver CD is usually just a standard recordable CD w/the drivers on it. Sometimes these CDs don't work properly or at all (yes, it has happened to me in the past) and then you have to download the drivers and what all else before you can even begin to enjoy your new aquisition. Also, sometimes, OEM products have flaws in them. Even though they say that they are manufactured to factory specs, they can and do sometimes (read sometimes) have flaws in them (again, it has happened to me). That is why I mentioned that it was authentic over OEM.
Now, was it really worth ressurecting this rather old thread for this? Just curious is all.
sincerely,
sx/amiga

yeah, I agree with that oem problem
my first card was an AIW Ati 8 mb and the install cd was not flat. My cd reader at that time, Rodeo, couldn't read the cd..... so I had to download the divers on my dial up intel modem chipset :shout:
my ati radeon is built by ATI

FSAA is Ful Screen Anti Aliasing: A technique to get rid of jagged edges and crawling textures. You enable it through your card's control panel, if it supports it.

vivrantpig, I play this game like some play and replay FF VII. What can I say, I'm a Gauntlet Fanatic. Guess that about sums it up.
dhkim, my Radeon is made by ATI also. Cool, sounds like we have the exact same card.

They look nice, but they look psone Q, because its a psx one game. Thats not a bad thing, however the dreamcast had the best GL game in terms of Q, next to the Xbox version.

My question, what is so special about GL on psxone in this thread?
I could have the same Q using Bleem, with my old Radeon 7000 4.3 Diamond Stealth Drivers.

EDIT, I JUST seen the date to this thread lolz. No wonder , someone made a SUPER BUMP from years ago hahahhah
