very true,....also the 4 main incarnations Xenogears talks about is in this order:

Abel>Kasim>Lucan>Fei
Elly>Elly>Sofia( also called Elly)>Elhaym ( also called elly)

Note that the name of Abel changes from one incranation to another, but the name " elly" remains ....

Why does Elly have her name to the present while Abel to Fei is different according to those events.

No. That's incorrect.

Miang remains Miang because she possesses the power to possess any woman on the planet. She isn't born, and she doesn't die. She is one continuous consciousness across time.

Elly is born anew every time she is physically killed. The reason why her name stays the same is a mystery I was unable to solve.

What I was trying to say is that both Miang and Elly are "factors" necessary to revive Deus, so they both exist as long as Deus exists (it is just that Elly is more "connected" to Wave Existence and Miang more to the weapon Deus). So, "Miang" and "Elehaym" are more than just names, nomen est omen , anyone?

BTW, the best Xeno-related site is www.zenosaga.com (but I think most people know about it, right?
