I'm playing GT2 2 player adhoc via irshell 3.90 with my little brother



Recorded my little brother playing God Of Wars: Chain of Olympus PSP on PC with PS2 controller via irshell.

how did u manage to use your gamepad in irshell remoteplay? for some reason my irshell would not allow me to revert my control to my controller so I end up playing it with the psp controls. And I did enable the redirect keypad option on my irshell in the psp.

set your controller with joytokey.

Set your joytokey like this:
left a
right s
up w
down z

analog up(USB mass) up
analog down(exit irshell) down

start(help) enter

but I actually press those keys on the keyboard and it did not work though, the game did not respond and my psp control did not respond either

your irshell config should be like this:

disable analog pad: analog pad working
non-ms media access: enable
redirect app view to host: disable
redirect keypad to host: via usbhost0
pop 2 player support: disable
display redirect to pc via usbhost0: enable

well, for some reason when I use those settings, both my remoteview and psp hangs up, like once I push usb host, the select square irshell (the one that flashes so that you know which icon ur selecting) disappears.

try reinstall irshell 3.90. Had you patch your PSP yet?

1. "directory view"
2. ms0:/ your MS
3. folder irshell
4. folder patch
5. folder 3.80
6. run btcnfpatch.prx

simple question. I've heard you can play ps1 games in your psp. how do you do this have a big psp (not slimline).

if i do convert it (ps1 game) can i play it straight away without changing anything?

Also where do I put the .pbp file (eboot) on my psp? on Game? With the folder it outputs with?

I was running irshell 3.8, funny thing is when i delete the irshell 3.8 and reinstall 3.9, irshel does no even boot up.

I am running CFW 3.71 and I only have popsloader installed (which i disabled already).


@mosesff:
after you convert it, just put it in the folder of the same name as the eboot and put it in the GAME folder, you would then see it in the game menu on ur psp.

This only works if you have CFW i've found out.

Ok, I did successfully installed 3.9 irshell now (somehow it finally boots up after my third turn on )

Same thing happend, whenever I redirect keypad to host, the psp hangs, I even attach a screenshot for it. as soon as i select the option to run remotejoy, the flashing green cursor disappears and the psp is hanged. But without keypad redirection, its fine.

irshell 3.90 work well on CFW 3.80 M33-5. You better upgrade to 3.80 M33-5 . Btw, irshell always hang if your USB cable attached to the PSP, you should removed it whenever you enter irshell.

Well, right now irshell boots up everytime, even with my usb attaches it 24/7. But as I said, with keypad redirection psp hangs, but without it its perfect, its just that I prefer to use my gamepad to game.

And whats bothering me is that i have been using remotejoy with this firmware in irshell 3.7, 3.8 and 3.9, and the keypad redirection fails in every version

As I said, try update to 3.80 M33-5. If the problem still exist, try keycleaner to repair your firmware.
