'told you I didn't spot any differences between the PS2 and DC versions
Then again, you seem to be more of a perfectionist on things like AA than I am.... it shouldn't be spoiling the Rez. experience though, it's a great game anyways.

lol, well I'm just one to easily spot flaws and imperfections. Industrian still hates me for making him aware of the thing we call "jaggies". He never looked at his PS2 games the same way ever since he and I started chatting about games

Good buy, Cid

But why not the Euro version?

Because the dollar is cheap as hell nowadays, and the Euro version is mostly only sold in the UK, meaning I have to pay almost double the price. And if I were to get a good PAL deal in the US, the case would arrive in a thousand pieces anyway. I also noticed that the game was getting more rare every day, so this really seemed the best thing to do

Trackmania is one of the most fun racing series ever. Period. It's a pickup and play or even long-term playability. It has the most awesome multiplayer capabilities and scene I've seen in alot of racing games. UNITED has backwards compatability (WTF, YA I KNOW) and well polished graphics. The entire series are all really great. United is a game everyone should pick-up IMO.

Good reasons, besides the obvious "PAL sucks and so do the cases" and "Japan is better at everything anyway" I was wondering if there were others

The DC version is all in English too, right?

lol, I actually like the pal cases, they're just too fragile for shipping halfway across the world, hell even domestic shipping breaks a couple of pins usually. I do think they lok nice the way I have them lined up

And the DC version indeed is in English as well, no problems there.

Yeah, it's definately my favourite on the PC atm. Easy to get into for everyone too, and United sports some pretty (if slightly over the top, but it fits the game) graphics.

Well I finally bought a new system. I tried to buy a Wii but couldn't find one for the longest time. I didn't feel like paying for those stupid bundles.

I was reaaaaaaally close to buying a PS3 but most of the games on the PS3 right now are on the 360 plus the 360 has some games that are really good right now which aren't on the PS3 and it's also $100 cheaper. I'll buy the PS3 later though.

Anyway without further ado, here's my new system

Good choice, I own both of those things

But why not the Elite? It's quite a bit more but IMO the black looks cooler and the bigger hard drive is worth it. And HDMI is nice if you have that.

I was gonna not take your advice hushy, and get Lumines for PS2 today... I got my punishment immediately: it was mid-price here before but now they upped it to full price... errr.. no thanks.

Go quick! You can only download it for a few days while E3 is running.

Yeah not worth it...

and speaking of Lumines, they just released a "booster" pack for like 5 bucks, I picked it up last night. It's awesome! I still need to explore it a bit more though.

The GC version is on two discs because the mini-DVDs can hold "only" 1.5GB per disc.

Btw, just started playing tonight. So far it's nice ... AND very different from previous RE games (not just because of the new control scheme), which can be a good or bad thing. I'll find out after a few more hours of playing.
