Cool, nice catch. If i remember right the demo of mgs2 came with it or something like that. I myself got Kingdom Hearts 2, after realizing i haven't played it yet . Great game, the battle system has gotten a lot easier compared with the first game but it there a large leap a little after half way. webcam misplaced, no pics unfortunately.

What's wrong with the controls? I got used to the B shoot, A switch shields, R Shoot bullets collected, I didn't see a problem with it, but I like the Wavebird, it's a cool controller. BTW, thanks Samor for telling me it was merged into another thread, I don't understand why it had to be moved from the gaming area, but I'm not a mod, and therefore my opinion doesn't count, but why can't we talk about the games we bought in the gaming forum? WTF is the gaming forum for if not discussing games?

Paratech, if you're going to make a 'pointless' (in quotes because that is highly subjective) thread, you might want to make it in the bin.
Although to be honest I didn't find anything wrong with you making your own thread. |

Indeed, there was nothing pointless in Paratech's thread, and it's logical to not find this picture thread, and, yes, weird that you can't talk about your games in the games discussion forum.
![]() But anyway, it's not really a problem to keep such discussions in this thread, IMO... Hushy, how about a sticky link in games discussion to this thread? Should solve future misunderstandings.

Well, I'm not the thread Nazi who moved it, and to be honest I kind of disagree with it
![]() Game discussion is for talking about games. If you want to talk about a game, go post it in the game discussion, that place is dry anyway. Chrono, stop being so anal! |

I don't have a PSP, yet
Hopefully I'll pick up one next week when they're supposed to be on sale for €150,-I saw this one for sale for only €15,- at a local store, and the big place which I usually visit for games didn't have it. Also, I thought I might enjoy this one better if I'd play it first rather than having played Lumines 2 first. |

Samor, check my adventures in the "what's wrong with Sony in Japan" thread.
Awesome stuff Hushy. The Wii looks so nice, small and slick. It really reminds me of when I first installed my Dreamcast. Which was put next to an old yellow NES. Looking at your games, I'd think it would be rather nice to set up a review board here at the forums. Or at least have you post some nice reviews of the games at gaming discussion. I'm curious about your impression of the Wii. |

I really love the Wii so far. Zelda is the same as I remember it, it's a mental challenge for me, you have to solve these cute little puzzles. Wario Ware is as I expected, totally cheesy and awesome.
I've seen a lot of criticism towards the controller, how it doesn't play "traditional" games well. I don't think that the Wii is meant for "traditional" games. All of the games that really stand out to me innovate with the controls, they don't have the same old "hold the controller" gameplay of the past. Any game that tries to go like that is going to suck on Wii. The strange games will be the good ones on the Wii. I ordered component cables, so there should be a visual ugrade. The colors are nice in games like Wii Play and Wario, and there is detail in Zelda, but it all feels a little fuzzy and I know the quality will be greatly improved with component. It's good having a variety of games, I have all those Wii games and Forza on my plate lately

You hear that guys? Party at Hushy's place this weekend
Get yer tickets now!I wonder how the controller would play. I also think it really depends on the developers how it will work out. It allows for innovative involving gameplay, but it also allows for gimmicky "tacked on" stuff. Also, they need to shift focus to the games again, rather than the controller. From the impression I have now, it's like the design of the actual games is suffering because of the firm faith developers have in the uniqueness of the controls selling well. But then again, I might be off. |

Got Geometry Wars. I read about the Steam release and then found out it'd been available as a Vista exclusive (wtf!) for a while... so I got it... eh, the Vista version.
Since it's a download, no cover to show. ![]() Great little game anyways, but a bit of a sloppy Dutch (???) localisation (and why in the first place?). Changing the OS' language setting to English fixes it. Note that the Steam/XP version has the same bug. I guess so few Dutch people have Vista (and even fewer Vista + Geometry Wars; afterall I didn't even know it was there) that no one found out 'till now. (thread about it at the Bizarre Inc forums: View topic - Localization incomplete - BizarreOnline.net ) For a change, a non-Vista related issue
