why's that then?

anyway, if that's really true, you should try and get a hold of the initial d game for psp.

and here's my latest addition... uhm, which is actually not a game
(I also saw one store carrying NFS Carbon for PS2 but they asked 60 euros , normal version too - hey, I like NFS but I'm not THAT desperate)

It's here
Nice and sexy box, very large as well, I like.

Now let's see what's inside, so far it looks good, damn nice figurine as well.

Sweet artwork booklet, nice map, average ring.

Some closeup pictures of the figurine, which is way beyond what I expected. The sword is wobbly, but it sure is very detailed as you can see on the pictures.

A very nice collector's edition in my opinion. The only reason why it can be considered a huge letdown at the same is that it simply isn't what was promised. The map should've been an A3 cloth map, the arwork booklet should have twice as many pages, and where's the damned manual?! There's just a lousy excuse of an installation guide in it that explains the basics of the interface. No feat description, no magic description, no tables no nothing! Which I find pretty hard to accept for a box that retails for €60,- which is 75 United States freaking Dollars! And they DO get a cloth map, and the full manual, which is included as a PDF on my game disc >_>

Oh and one thing that does give this version a slight edge is that it comes with the original Neverwinter Nights + the two expansions. Nice... but most of us already have this game, and simply serves no purpose because online multiplayer will see their playerbase decrease with NWN2 being released, and the single player campaign is simply boring.

In my case I don't mind another copy because it allows me to hack our way through it with my brother Hope you guys enjoy the pictures, now all that's left is patching the game and I'm off to play it.

Nice catch Samor, seen a review @ Gamekings on tv on how it compares to the PSP browser. Pretty nifty to have internet on a DS, should work a lot better than on a cellphone.

it's great, but quite slow (which confirms various reviews I've read before buying it).
They've really used the DS' features to make the browsing experience as nice as possible, so you can view the pages to fit the DS' screensize, or instead, view the whole page small with the ability to zoom in on certain parts, zoom levels also being adjustable. There's both a virtual keyboard and handwriting recognition. The interface is simply great. Websites can be presented in their full glory, minus things like video and flash - you won't be able to watch youtube or gametrailers or anything like that. The DS isn't powerful enough for it. That's probably also why the pages are rendered rather slow. Yet, even if that's the case, the designers thought about that, because you can disable image loading on the fly, and whatever's already loaded of a website is shown immediately, so you don't have to wait for the full thing to be loaded before you can take a look.
The DS is definately not a fully fledged PocketPC, but looking at price/quality, it's a really decent effort - I don't think there are much cheaper devices with which you can browse the internet like that.

With free wireless cropping up all over the place here in the US, I might buy that just to take advantage of it. Is there anything similar going on in European countries?

whooo 60 euro :/ it's about 30 EUR here... not the special edition but also... with polish translation... I hate that...

As for Outrun... it's kinda boring on big screen for me but as a handheld game it's awesome gonna read about initial d

BTW. Yesterday I finnally updated my firmware.... yes I did it , I updated to
2.71.... but the 2.71 SE-B and dudes, it's awesome combination of fw 1.0, 1.5 and 2.71, no need for devhook to listen to WMA, RSS channels, flash and whole rest if someone can update ASAP

I love my psp and its homebrew capabilities. Everyone who hasnt experienced a psp with homebrew and portable emulation are missing out big time. The cps2 and neogeo emulator are on my favorites of all time. Also i am too also using Dark Alex's custom 2.71se-b firmware its awesome and i cant wait for more updates.

Btw I just got these games a couple weeks ago from my friend who works at a video game wherehouse. I get the games cheap and before the release date woohoo!!

Lucky you man Those games look like hours of fun.

I think I'll be taking it easy on buying new games, I'm too busy with Neverwinter Nights to be arsed browsing Ebay for good Dreamcast deals

I think I also better stop for a while. My "properly played games - bought games" ratio is starting to become a tad ridiculous.... and then I still enjoy the very old ones too

maybe we should start a "Pictures of your played games" thread in which you go into more detail why you played game X and what's so nice about it+ screenshots perhaps. Would especially be interesting for the more uncommon ones, of course. Well, it's just a weird idea

I think a translated rom was put on there and nicely "covered" with a stick but it's just by guess.

Anyways, i have a question. I'm planning to buy children of mana US version (i can't wait any longer, Q1 2007 Europe ) but i don't know will the US version multi player work with games from different regions. Anybody tried with other DS games?
