hm, mine's genuinely a "box", also brandless. I haven't used it for quite a while, though....

@ RF: I still have fond memories of an old Ace Combat game for the PSX, it rocked man. I should really find a newer part of the series myself, or even the old one.
the closest you can get on Dreamcast is Deadly Skies/Airforce Delta from Konami. It's basically an Ace Combat clone, and it's quite nice too. AFAIK it doesn't work with a VGABox, though.

Well two days ago another game came in, one that goes well with the maracas. And today I got two others, Cool Cool Toon and Grandia 2 (ntsc u), all sealed. I'm afraid I do have to take off the seal of Grandia 2, mainly for the audio cd, and the game itself once I choose to play on my TV again. The PAL copy I have is 50hz only except when on VGA, where it looks awesome. But I can't stand having to switch cables all the time.
Sega Rally 2 is like that - it has no 60hz option but plays 60hz on VGA... still choppy, though (but hey, I have a PAL PS2, I'm used to something ;P )

Thanks again for the Tokyo Extreme Racer 2 hint... I had a quick "test" session and the game controls well (with gamepad) ...I'm actually becoming better with the "space shuttle" (that's how I call the DC controller) in racing games

You're welcome Samor, I'll give you a headsup whenever I see something interesting. That guy usually has good japanese games, both for DC and MSX.

One big plus is the analog trigger for dosing your gas and brakes, though when playing for more than an hour will make your finger hurt, a lot. I'm not one for these pressure sensitive face buttons though. When you have a sturdy analog stick it's nice as well, imo it's way better than the one found on the Dual Shock, also because of where it is placed on the controller. Though I must admit that my first controller is pretty worn out by now.

Btw, there is another series on DC, named Aero Dancing, I think I'll be trying to get one of those, it seems to be the better series.

I have the first (Aero Wings in Europe) - it's stunt flying, not air combat, but it's nice. I don't really know much about the second.

The later ones do, just check www.segagagadomain.com which is a great site for Dreamcast info. There's one that allows the VS cable to be used, and one that allows 4 player dogfights, splitscreen.

How could i forget to write about this game? It's been a tight 2 years of searching for a not too large price. I guess this was worth. £25 ($13?) in my local Game station branch, Tombi. I could not believe my eyes. Endlessly searching for this game on Ebay, i stanched on off near by where i live. Simply amazing. Now just tombi 2 left Sorry for bad shot quality.

According to teh Wiki, it was released late (after much complaining from fans). Doesn't interest me. It was really just an impulse buy during a 'buy 2 get 1 free' sale anyway, though I am a KoF fan.

ah, I see.
With the popularity of SNK games here (NL, Europe), when it's out here it won't be too long 'till it hits the budget bin... if the release is like the first, it'll contain that bonus dvd too... maybe I'll get it then

At least there are still people who spent money on CDs other than writable ones. I got myself three new cds yesterday, 32,50 for three Graveworm albums, and had them signed by the whole band as well, now that's a nice deal

Or you can do import, like buy it on ebay! even though it will be more expensive than what you are gonna pay for in retail stores due to shipping etc...
