Some new stuff that came in the last couple of weeks.

I was very lucky to find myself a German seller on Ebay who sold Harvest Moon: Back to Nature for €15,- each while he had five of them. I asked him if the game would be in english or german, because usually they have localised games. However seeing how he sold 3 out of the 5 he had pretty quickly I decided not to wait for his answer, the game was still sealed as well and usually they go for a bit more as you can see here.

When I got the game I pulled off the seal to see if it would be in English, and it turned out the first thing the game asks is in what language you'd want to play! The perfect solution.

I also managed to get Bangai-O from England for a decent price, and R2R Boxing was still sealed, for 2 euros from a dutch seller, so no complaints about that either. Too bad shipping messed up the case, as if someone had been standing on it. Strange enough most of the time when I recieve stuff from England it arrives in a better state than when I bought them in my own country.

A week ago I saw a very interesting auction on the Dutch Ebay site, the Dreamcast maracas, and hardly anyone seemed interested. Seeing how these are becoming pretty rare as well, especially when you might get them for less than €25,- I couldn't let this offer pass. In the end I won them for 21 so it's a pretty good deal, even if they're third party. They're completely mint, so now all I have to get is the game

Oh and there's a picture of the DC collection as a whole, seems I'm running out of space, also, I think my collection has almost doubled since february. But I'm taking it more easy now because of uni having started again, and the touring season as well, so I'll be attending more metal gigs.

Thanks

It's still missing a couple of great games though, Skies of Arcadia, Grandia 2 (ntsc U, as I already have the pal and japanese versions), Rez and Sword of Berserk, and last but not least Daytona USA

Cid, you definately should get Daytona It's simply the best home version, and probably just the best version ever.... it's a bit sensitive with the DC pad though... (yeah, I still didn't get that wheel )

I got a few new games today though; Black and NFS MW (Platinum).
That makes my NFS collection complete again, until Carbon comes out

This time around i got hold of another PSX underrated gem (i think) Silent Bomber. Came out in 2000 so people where looking at PS2 coming and not at the psx anymore. Very addictive game, actually.

But unfortunately i got a problem. I ripped an image (no console to play it on as of now ) and started playing. Level 11 i believe. After defeating a rather hard boss and exiting the level the games goes black screen. I seen this before years ago as i seen my friend play. Finished the level and boom. Nothing. Is it a Cd problem or what can anything be done bout it?

Yea, but why hang exactly 1) near the end of the game 2) a the same spot it did on an original ps1 when my friend played it (different copy of the game) could it be a game bug?

Wow, industrian is somehow gone for a while and it can be seen instantly this thread falls asleep straight away .

I have made 2 purchases in the last moment or so but it has become quite unsuccessful.

1. Silent Bomber. A fantastic game. Like bomber-man but with a anime touch and a lot more stuff to destoy. The only problem is that it's one of those faulty copies unfortunately which hang after finishing of level 10 -_-... It's still a nice game to have in collection so it's not that bad. A fully working would be much apprichiated though .

2. Muppet Racemania. omg. I remember playing this demo like yesterday. A really fun racer with the muppets crew. Might seem childish but ain't that bad. Although i wish i could say that. The game reached me in a fatal state. Case broken, disc looks like after a fatality (read: helluva scratches) Disc doesn't read at all. I sent a email to the seller to check the situation out. I hope it will be cool after all.

After this rather depressing experiece, i just wish all of you to the games you order, buy, find (? ) in the best state possible.

PS. sorry, no pics webcam refuses to take pics...

It IS an awesome game. It's one of those games where you go to a save point to stop playing but it keeps drawing you in so before you know it, you put in another hour or two. Really really awesome game. This is one of those times where you gotta believe all the hype and reviews about the game imo.
