I know it's only Digital Video out, but it's labeled Digital AV Out for some reason. Well that and the special Panasonic Gamecube had Digital Audio out.

I'll probably get a new camera soon. My Nokia 6230 is only good to a degree. As for my games collection, it's like H5N1: growing, unstoppable, and it'll probably kill me.

Panasonic GameCube

Yeah, the closest Gamecube games got to surround sound was Pro Logic 2 through the RCA leads.

I concur about digital audio. Those screenshots I posted of MGS3 on my PC were nothing. Try playing it with that image quality and with digital audio (routed through a Audigy 2 ZS Platinum Pro and a cracking 7.1 system.) I was in hog heaven.

I took Hushy's advice and got a new camera at the weekend. Now, I'm not one to do things by half, so I got a 7 megapixel camera.

Prepare to be Al Capwned.

Gamecube Games:

PC Games:

- - - - -

PlayStation Games:

- - - - - - -

PlayStation 2 Games:

---

This really doesn't count, but I'll include it anyways.

Game Soundtracks:

- -

Impressive, no?

PAL is better than NTSC because NTSC doesnt work. right.

well, older PAL sucked (50 fps and the shoddy ways that game companies would deal with it....) but PAL60 is much better. 60 FPS and better colors than NTSC. cool, yeah?

I recall NFS1 PAL on PS1. I thought it was a bug in ePSXe, but the framerate is really that poor, because it's totally not optimized...something like "hey, let's run 30fps on 50hz"

PAL60 is definately the best solution imho.

Nice collection man, I like your Grandia 2 soundtracks as well, I'm still looking to get my hands on them, but they're pretty rare and relatively expensive.

yeah, and most N64 PAL games, as i come to understand it, are just NTSC games running at 50 fps (so they are 5/6 speed). wow.

oh, hey, i got Polarium. keeping with the subject of the thread...

My PS, N64 w/a few snes games, and SNES collections. I still have the boxes for everything from the snes era and up, i just keep the boxes and papers, manuals, etc. in a storage box in the attic for safe keeping and extra room...
