milkdrop has improved a lot and the desktop mode runs now smoother than before... i can do nearly everything as usual with it turned on... here are 5 more shots... the last 3 pics were taken one after another but i was still to slow anyway the best thing about milkdrop is the ability to combine the effects and make smooth transitions... anyways... enjoy...

nope you either get yourself winamp 2 or 5 beta and download the visualization called "milkdrop" then you can configure it either to run in fullscreen in windowed mode or in desktop mode... milkdrop got a little error (at least for me) if i access the customizations / more options / transitions tabs in the config menu then it reduces the colors you see in a visualization to red yellow and green... so better just mark the start in desktop mode setting and let it run.... enjoy...
