This is my current desktop.
Yes I don't need/use docks or icons on the desktop. Even the recycle bin is pinned to the taskbar.

For me is a joy to play a new installment of a series of Fighting game I played since I was a little boy.

@GF I figured that in the taskbar is everything I needed, plus I love seeing my wallpaper in all it's glory.

Here's two easy ways to tell.

1. The Start Button. On Windows 7 it looks different, and also doesn't stick up higher than the taskbar itself like it does in Windows Vista.

2. The taskbar itself will (more often than not) have the new icons instead of the window tabs.

I almost liked it. The faded background anime Chun-Li killed it for me. That, and I'm not a big fun of game-slut poses. I like game chicks, I just don't like them to be overtly slutty. I prefer game chicks like Jade from BG&E or Elena from Uncharted.
