No, its because I've saved it as JPEG. Don't know about everyone but whenever I save anything as JPEG the spots appear.

I was talking about your resolution being 1024x768. Unless you have a really old laptop then your resolution is set way too low.

My laptop has resolution 1024x768, but I've increased icon size to 48x48.

That is a fairly nice desktop indeed.

I am curious about something though. Why do so many people like putting that taskbar at the top of the screen? Does it not interefere with the menubar of apps then?

my sister does that... but i think it looks weird since i'm so used to it on the bottom.

i guess some people just like it in a different place for originality

apart from ePSXe i dont have a problem like that with any app , and to be onest the reason its up there is i always hated that the taskbar covers the lower part of an backround/wallpaper one day i tried to put it up it felt strange a time but after that i came to love it and now i cant get to like the taskbar down )

I run @ 1024x768 when I'm not playing games. CRT FTW!, so I can run at whatever res (below 1600*1200) I want! :P

There is a long story behind the wallpaper. She told me to do it :P.

We have no problem with long stories seeing as we can read them at our leisure.

Actually, the story isn't long at all.

I happened to have that picture of her, and she told me to set it as my desktop.

Is that a personal wallpaper (some place you saw IRL) or just something you found on the net RF?

And there are a few linux users here and there every once in a while.
