Only for the looks, for the user there is no chaos and perfect system (a.k.a. you just gotta be used to it). But i don't understand how you fix up that icon patter without windows reseting it to defaul for no reason what-so-ever.

Which VS is that? Maybe there's an actual OSX theme that does not have the ugly mac caption bar buttons.

You could put in a script that automatically changes it back whenever those apps are launched, and back when none of those are running. edit1: awesome, i got amarok working. 10/10 media player ![]() anyway, i'll post my laptop desktop in a second. edit2: here's my laptop's desktop:

Well since it actually would have to restart the window manager I would see that more like a hassle, since I would actually have to relogin and tell everything else to start up again Anyway I update my compiz version and... surprise, it is messed up beyond redemption (it won't start up anymore). I guess I'll have to reinstall it from scratch |

hmm, first of all how do i give timidity or playmidi the playback devices they need? Timidity can play back a couple of instruments but lacks the very most of them. Playmidi says it's missing playpack device. edit: *just to keep it on topic* rate-my-laptop
