Anyway, here's my first attempt at a new sig image. It might be too big. If it is, I will have to par it down a little.

PS: i couldnt dye it in red , since its not white there , its blank . who made this simplly painted black around that shape .

that thing on the left is not a satanic symbol, its a simple pentagram, which is an archaic symbol of summoning... in the most common sense the pentagram was painted on the ground (sometimes with blood) in a ritual of summoning where 5 acolytes would stand at the tips of the pentagram where usually a candle was also placed... i think it was the fire god who was supposed to be summoned, well, later on the japanese read about this and became intrigued by some of the more paganistic religions and they started putting variations of these symbols everywhere, into books, cartoons, games, and thats how most people know them by now... as either odd symbols in games, or "devil symbols". probably none of this "ritual" is actually real, im no expert on the subject but i believe most of what i said was right, although im not sure if the pentagram originated from actual rituals or through some book somewhere

Use Microsoft Photo editor to resize it's height to 60 pixels, otherwise, the width is okay

I might get around to butchering the image in a few days. I kind of don't like to scrunch it that much, and it will take a total redesign to do so. Next time I should really look at the size limits first.

Chaos, a simple google search will give you plenty of Evil Inside logos that are colored red. I used to have that logo in place of my EPA logo on bootup. (I was using a tweaked BIOS).

As for the pentagram, it was commonly used in pagan religions WAAAY back in the day. When Christianity came along, they decided that witches were bad, and persecuted all who followed the pagan gods.

In recent times, pagan religions have been making a comeback due to the reduced power of the Christian movement. It's still difficult, as most people recognize the pentagram as an "evil" symbol, but acceptance is gradually being gained. Although I myself do not practice Wicca or any other pagan religion, I respect their beliefs, and do support them. I am actually a member of a pagan fellowship at my University.

The runes which surround the pentagram are from the game Eternal Darkness. Starting from the top, and going clockwise, they are Ulyaoth, Pargon, Redgormor, Pargon, and Antorbok. In the game, they would be situated in a 5 point circle of power to create a magick spell.

Anyways, thanks everyone for their input. I was worried that someone would find the pentagram offensive, and I would have a religious debate on my hands.

Nah, I have never grew up around other Indians (other than my father), and the ones I do know, I don't really like, so I haven't ever really cared. I do find Indian jokes to be very funny though.

But really, the onyl culture that I have any real love for is Japanese.

hehe naw, i dont find many things offending anyways, and as for pentagrams, i personally dislike people who are ignorant and think that it is a symbol of the devil
