Heh. I'm glad you like it. It took me a lot longer than I thought it would, but I still think it's not that bad for a person who killed a whole 26 of hard liquor that night.

I think the thing that took me longest though was actually finding the pictures I wanted on the internet. In the end I was forced to actually install the game to get the last couple of shots I wanted, as all the internet ones I found were either unsuitable or low quality.

But ragnarok, if you don't like it, I can change it without much effort now. I have it set up rather nicely, so changes are easy to make.

Strider, I 100% agree. FF6 and FF4 were classics. FF7 is subservient to them.

heh, something to agree on... you find so many people bashing classics these days because they didnt have as good graphics or an unorthodox story

yeah, these whipper-snappers don't know how good they got it! Playing pit-fall on a dizamn Intellivion. It had a spinny thing that didnt work, and we liked it that way!

The First Final Fantasy, now THAT was the epitimy of Gameplay over Graphics. I mean, Its a BLUE pirate and Im supposed to beleive that it is a Ninja? Pshaw, It had a friggin' cutlass! geez.

Heh. you sound like Cranky Kong. I remember back in the day, all we had were two colors and a square that bounced back and forth across the screen. Did we complain? Hell no! Nowadays all these young pups just seem to care if their Ninja's carry cutlasses and look like blue Pirates. Back in the day we would have liked the screen to look like ANYTHING.

you forgot to mention about walking 15 miles to school in freezing weather being thankful for your electricity, radio, and hot cocoa

Actually, when I was a kid, it was a 2km walk to school in waist deep snow. I sometimes got hot cocoa, but not often, and my house didn't have electricity. You hit the nail right on the head there Strider.

(I lived in a little rat-hole in Northern BC that is VERY far away from anything civilized. It's like time stopped there 100 years ago. I never want to go back.)

n yeah, now-a-days, all ppl mainly care about is the graphix, then an ok story would make the game great. tsktsktsk. but i still like those classix. i think my first rpg game was FFII on super! *sighs* aw.. good ol' memories...

Heh. No, I get too little out of it. I just get to say at the end that I made something halfways decent when I couldn't even walk a straight line.

(amazingly, I do the same thing in pool and FPS games. I play best when half cut. )

I don't think I'll ever have an FF sig. It'd seem wrong to everyone here. I'm eassily identiified by my Alucard theme

Well maybe it's because they are different. Many people don't like FF2j because it's much different then the other FF's.
